We Fit From the Course You Actually Play, Not a Mat.

Most fittings start and end inside a bay, staring at the same flat lie all afternoon. We walk you across three real turf conditions first — a tight fairway lie, a firm greenside lie, and rough — and log what we see on a course card before a single spec changes. Then every club is filed, bent, and checked by hand against that card, not shipped in from a factory queue.

Driver to Putter, Every Club Checked on Real Turf

Whichever club brought you in, the same course card gets pulled before we touch a demo head or a spec sheet.

Inside a Session

Four Stops From the First Lie to a Finished Build

  1. 01

    Walk the Card

We walk you across three representative lies — tight fairway, firm green surround, and rough — logging turf firmness, grass type, and wind on a course card before any demo club comes out.

  2. 02

    Bench Comparison

Heads and shafts from the wall get tested against that card, cross-checked with launch numbers so nothing is judged off a generic chart.

  3. 03

    Spec Lock

We walk through the card and the numbers together and lock in head, shaft, length, and lie/loft, with the reasoning shown at every step.

  4. 04

    Hand Build & Verify

Clubs are filed, bent, and assembled in-house, then rechecked against your original course card before you ever take one to the range.

Why the Turf Read Matters

Two Golfers, Same Swing Speed, Very Different Lies

A simulator mat is the same forgiving surface every single swing. Real Gainesville turf isn't — a tight Bermuda fairway in August plays nothing like a soft, overseeded green surround in January. Golfers with nearly identical clubhead speed can need very different bounce, sole width, and lie angle once you account for the ground they actually play off of. Fitting from a mat alone is why a club can "test great" in the bay and feel wrong on your home course by the third hole.

What Golfers Say After the First Card

★★★★★

I'd been fit three times before and always felt like the launch monitor number lied to me once I got to the course. Walking the actual turf before we changed anything explained why.

Hollis N.Driver Fitting
★★★★★

My wedges finally match the sand and hardpan I actually play off of at my home course, not a rubber mat that never digs.

TB
Teo B.Wedge Fitting
★★★★★

Watching the shop file and bend my irons by hand after the session, then check them against my own course card, made this feel nothing like a box-store fitting.
